Fernando has been selling homes in Houston since 2004. He began his career exclusively selling new construction, and has retained an incredible knowledge of most of the tract builders in the greater Houston area. His experience with newly constructed homes give him the advantage of being up to date on new trends and specifications.
Fernando is originally from Monterrey N.L. Mexico. His clientele consists of people from many cultures, but primarily English and Spanish. He has the combined attributes of attention to detail (he graduated with and "Engineering degree), and his passion for marketing (he has a Masters in Business, specializing in Marketing). These combined interests help Fernando excel in real estate which requires both attention to detail and creativity.
Fernando moved to Houston in 1998, when he married Jennifer Hughes Hernandez, a native Houstonian, after rekindling their friendship from her time as an exchange student in Mexico. They have a son, Diego, who they are speaking to in Spanish so that he will be bilingual. Jennifer has been involved in the Real Estate Industry since 1995 as a Mortgage Consultant. Their combined knowledge makes them a strong team and ensures many interesting debates after hours.
Fernando enjoys all facets of the home buying and selling process, and finds dealing with people as well as the problem-solving part of real estate rewarding. For Fernando his business begins with a passion for the work and a deep respect for his customers and clients.
Fernando's personal interest include mountaineering, cave repelling, rock climbing, Karate (he is a black belt), and anything outdoors. He has recently become interested in triathlons, and it dedicated to his training for that event.
Whether Fernando is representing you as a buyer or a seller, he is committed, trustworthy and last but not least he is funny. He loves to tell jokes, and puts everyone he meets at ease.
